Das Monika

'Das Monika' is our main house where you'll find the breakfast room and the ski room etc. Part of the building was constructed around 1900, which is reflected in its solid structure. A closer look reveals walls up to 70cm thick in places. Monika started up the guesthouse and began renting out after World War II. Four generations, 2 major extensions in 1955 and 1975, and numerous renovations later, the house is still family owned and is currently run by Martina and Friedrich, the fourth generation. The fifth generation is also already involved.

Haus Claudia

'Das Claudia' was built by Sepp Fankhauser of the previous generation, for his daughter, Claudia. Claudia managed the business herself until 2021. My wife and I took over the guesthouse from my mother in November 2021. The first and second generations have sadly passed away. Currently the third generation, Edith and Günter Fankhauser and Claudia Schiestl live in Haus Claudia.
